crate paper color challenge + things i love about you

i must be crazy to still be scrapping even though i have an exam TOMORROW. but i just had to. have been dying to do this layout for the longest time. i have selected the papers, chosen the embellishments, thought of what to write, and i absolutely do not want to miss the deadline for crate paper’s latest color challenge!

close ups!

I have used various paper lines – toy box, emma’s shoppe, restoration and neighborhood (:
this boy has been a gem in my life and i will be silly to ever let him go. it scares me sometimes to think of how our long distance relationship will work out in the future but i guess we just have to treasure every single moment we have together NOW. this layout shall serve as a reminder of how much i love this boy even during the tough times while we deal with long distance. we’ve tried long distance twice and honestly it was awfully painful. hopefully when we both start working, we will be both swarmed with so much work that missing each other won’t be so hard.
on a lighter note, there’s finally something to be happy about ( this year has been filled with a lot of downs) – we are heading off to paris in june (: i’m really excited because:
- i didn’t have enough time to explore paris last year and it’s a perfect time to do so this year
- i want to spend a lazy afternoon in the quaint montmartre
- i want to climb the eiffel tower with eugene ( it’s cliche but it’s still a must-do!)
- i just miss europe so so so so much
we were torn between paris, barcelona and milan (my 3 fav cities in europe) but the memories of barcelona and milan were still pretty vivid in my mind so our final pick is PARIS (:
okay i really have to study now. CIAO.
i like your style of scrapping! another lovely LO (:
hi daphnie! love your layouts! very pretty and inspirational! (: just one question though, do you print the photos out on your own? how do you make them square and such? (photoscape/ instagram ??)
hi jan!
thanks (: anyway, i used instagram for my photos and i develop them in photo kiosks which should be easy to find in any shopping centres. i can’t wait to get my own photo printer though. less hassle. haha.. hope this helps!
