crate everyday: routine

crate paper’s newest challenge – crate everyday – caught my eye and i was so inspired to take up the challenge. The theme this month is routine and i have decided to create a mini album which serves the purpose of reminding me the many ways that i can incorporate creativity into my everyday life.

Found some transparent card holder at my local bookstore and transformed it to look like this:

It’s actually quite small, about 4″ by 3″. Given its compact size, it will be so easy to store it and even to carry it around. I foresee myself buying many more of these cardholders to make mini albums for my friends!

I then filled the card holder with 6cm-by-9cm cards with ways to stay creative:

various collections from crate paper have been used, including random, peppermint, emma’s shoppe, restoration, portrait and farmhouse. i think you can tell by now what a crazy crate paper fan i am. haha.

here’s how they look like in the album itself:

Credits has to be given to the poster below for giving me this awesome idea (:

It’s not my first time doing a mini album but i think this time round i really derive a huge sense of satisfaction from completing this. sometimes we are so caught up with our busy lives that we forget all these little things that will keep us sane and happy. try making one! it’s therapeutic (:

Where Am I?
